Chesapeake Classic Restorations is hiring a Parts and Sales Manager to join our growing team.
We specialize in classic vehicle restoration, restomods, custom builds, and high-quality automotive craftsmanship. This position is ideal for someone who understands both the customer-facing side of the automotive industry and the behind-the-scenes organization required to keep projects moving.
The ideal candidate has experience with automotive parts, vendor communication, customer service, sales, and project coordination. We are looking for someone who can help source the right parts, communicate clearly with customers, support estimates and proposals, and work closely with our production team to keep restoration projects organized and moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Source, order, and track parts for classic vehicle restoration and custom build projects
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and backorders
- Maintain organized records of parts orders, invoices, receipts, returns, and project-related purchases
- Work with the production team to identify parts needed for active and upcoming projects
- Assist with customer communication related to estimates, project updates, parts availability, and sales opportunities
- Support the sales process for new restoration, restomod, mechanical, paint, body, upholstery, and storage inquiries
- Help prepare quotes, proposals, and project information for potential customers
- Follow up with leads, current customers, and past customers in a professional and timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers, and internal team members
- Help manage parts organization, receiving, labeling, and project allocation
- Identify opportunities to improve parts ordering, tracking, and communication processes
- Work closely with ownership, management, and department leads to support overall shop efficiency
- Represent Chesapeake Classic Restorations professionally in all customer and vendor interactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive parts, sales, service writing, restoration, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of automotive parts, vehicle systems, and restoration-style work
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and team members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects, orders, and conversations at once
- Comfortable researching parts for classic vehicles, custom builds, and specialty applications
- Strong computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to follow up consistently and keep information organized
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and willingness to work as part of a team
- Must be dependable, motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Preferred Experience
- Classic vehicle restoration or custom automotive industry experience
- Automotive parts sourcing and vendor management
- Service writing or customer-facing automotive sales
- Estimating, quoting, or proposal preparation
- Inventory organization and parts tracking
- Experience working with specialty parts, aftermarket components, or hard-to-find vehicle parts
- Experience in a restoration, performance, collision, dealership, or automotive service environment

Pay: $15.95 - $23.24 per hour
