We are currently seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting our mission of teaching children about God’s love while helping them grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
Responsibilities:
- Help lead classroom activities
- Help complete lesson preparation
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap time
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
- Support the spiritual development of children through Bible stories, songs, and prayer
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff
Qualifications:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian values
- Regularly attends church
- 90 hour Childhood Training complete (helpful)
- Experience working with young children (preferred)
- Patience, kindness, and a joyful attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required (early childhood education credits a plus)
- Must meet all licensing requirements, including background checks
