Summary Of Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager has a primary focus on building long-term revenue and profit for the Lowe’s account. Our Manager will be directly responsible for one or more brands as well as the execution of the retail marketing strategies for the account. This individual must possess a strong sense of ownership and urgency that drives results and also be comfortable with making decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
Facilitating effective internal and external communications, coupled with the ability to turn data to actionable insights are key skills required to succeed in this role. This position will be focused on working directly across all areas of the supply chain from Product Development to the end consumer / user including Merchandising, Branding, Marketing, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Finance as well as a key point of contact for the customer.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Develops account strategy and executes a tactical plan to drive profitable growth
- Ensures key deliverables, budgets, and timelines are met to support retail execution
- Builds relationship with customer for long-term account sustainability
- Analyzes POS, event results, and related metrics to evaluate and refine strategies/tactics
- Interfaces directly with Lowe’s to achieve sales/margin/inventory objectives
- Places new and existing product through product line reviews, product launches, product roadmaps, etc.
- Works closely with brand management and product management to maintain a robust and comprehensive multiyear product road map for the channel with a focus on expanding into new categories, technologies, and products
- Collaborates with Lowe’s/Chervon corporate marketing teams (including Canada account support) to develop point of purchase materials needed to support the established sales plans (i.e., endcaps, side stacks, banners, POP, etc.) and brand strategies
- Owns all Lowe’s store/show events in terms of coordination of resources, design, and execution of timelines

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 3 - 7 years of experience in retail / big box account management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization
- Significant understanding of sales forecasting, fiscal management, merchandising strategies, packaging, and marketing content development
- Excellent business management and developmental skills
- Prior experience leading teams
