Summary Of Responsibilities
As the Director of Channel Marketing, you will be responsible for leading a team of Channel Marketers with direct responsibility for strategy and execution for Chervon owned or produced brands to increase channel strategy, customer marketing efforts, in-store and online execution, brand equity, promotional strategy and profitable sales conversion. Chervon’s current owned brand portfolio includes EGO, EGO Commercial, FLEX and SKIL covering both the outdoor power and power tools and accessories segments. This individual will report directly to the VP of Marketing.

Key Job Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel marketing strategy that aligns with company growth objectives.
- Identify, differentiate and prioritize key channel partners and tactics to maximize market reach and revenue.
- Define annual channel marketing plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain channel pricing strategies that align with corporate margin, revenue, and market-share goals.
- Ensure pricing supports partner profitability while maintaining competitive positioning.
- Monitor and enforce pricing compliance across distributors, resellers, and retail/e-commerce partners.
- Own the planning, development, and rollout of national promotions, including seasonal campaigns, channel specific promotions and online programs.
- Coordinate with partners to ensure promotional messaging, timing, and execution align with brand guidelines.
- Oversee the development of promotional assets (POS materials, digital ads, sales tools, etc).
- Build and enhance partner marketing programs, co-marketing initiatives, and merchandising programs
- Create and maintain partner marketing & go to market toolkit (sales collateral, messaging guide, new product launch materials, training materials, merchandising & point of purchase).
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Brand to support partner success.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, customer events, product launches, promotions, and partner communications.
- Ensure all campaigns align with brand strategy & guidelines, product positioning, and sales priorities.
- Track and analyze channel performance metrics, campaign ROI, and partner engagement using data-driven insights.
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership on program effectiveness and optimization.
- Continuously refine strategies to improve partner contribution and overall channel efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing channel marketing team.
- Manage channel marketing budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources and co-marketing funds
Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing required; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience required.
- Exceptional knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts and practices.
- Leadership and performance measurement skills.
- Senior professional with mature business judgment and strong collaborative style.
- Exceptional written, verbal, public speaking and communication skills.
- Self-starter motivated by goals and challenges of rapid roll-out.
- Superb follow-through, problem-solving and communications skills.
- Able to compile and analyze performance and sales data to develop metrics that support decision-making for resource allocation and subsequent campaigns.
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word);
- Experience in the home goods industry, working with national home centers a plus.
- Salary Range: $170k to $215k

Salary : $170,000 - $215,000
