Network Administrator

CherryRoad Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and enjoys engaging in diverse aspects of enterprise networking and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance and reliability of network infrastructure
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across multiple environments
• Design and implement scalable networking solutions to enhance performance and stability
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
• Apply patches and updates to network hardware and software
• Monitor network health and proactively address anomalies
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deploy solutions and troubleshoot issues
• Log and track customer issues and resolutions with precision and clarity
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of network architecture and operational processes
• Perform data center tasks including cabling, hardware installation, and equipment maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols and experience managing geographically distributed data centers
• Proficiency in tunneling and transport protocols such as VXLAN, IPSEC, routing, BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree, and GRE
• Advanced expertise in Layer 2 switching technologies
• Proven experience in network design and architecture
• Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
• Outstanding customer service abilities with strong verbal and written communication
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technologies and concepts independently
• Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of working directly with clients
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically as needed

Preferred Credentials

• CCNP certification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network engineering or related field
