Responsibilities

- Perform documentation review and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with dentists.
- Provide support in pediatric dentistry, catering to the unique needs of younger patients.
- Stay updated on best practices in dental hygiene and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
- Experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical coding related to dental procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in infection control practices and aseptic technique.
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
