We are seeking a detailed and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Process transactions accurately using retail math skills, including cash handling, cashiering, and cash management.
- Handle customer inquiries about custom jewelry projects with Meg, our lead designer.
- Maintain organized displays and ensure the sales floor is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked.
- Utilize Customer Reltaionship Management software and assist in ordering supplies needed and updates to customers.
- Support team efforts by participating in store maintenance tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for helping others is key.
- Familiarity with financial services can be advantageous for understanding product offerings.
- Basic math skills including retail math, and cash handling are essential for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with CRM software or point-of-sale systems will help streamline daily operations.
- Strong communication skills combined with a positive attitude will enable you to connect effectively with customers and team members alike.
