What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Cherry Ridge Veterinary Clinic?
Cherry Ridge Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking experienced, full-time Veterinary Technicians.
The ideal candidates will be motivated team players with a high level of compassion and dedication to patient care. Our Veterinary Technicians perform a variety of tasks, such as assisting doctors with exams, surgical & dental procedures, administering medication, filling prescriptions and performing laboratory work.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- venipuncture
- catheter placement
- radiology
- patient monitoring & recovery
- dentistry
- patient triage & assessment
- laboratory
- pharmacy
- educate clients about preventative medicine, disease processes, and at-home care
- work alongside doctors and fellow technicians to provide patients and clients exceptional, compassionate care
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
