What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Cook position at Cherry Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility?
Cherry Ridge is a skilled nursing facility located in Bastrop, La. We provide short term therapy programs and long term care. Cherry Ridge takes great pride in providing good, nutritious meals to our residents.
- Experience in dietary/food service is preferred, but not required (e.g. nursing home setting, hospital setting, or even experience within the school system.)
- We provide all of the on the job training required to do tasks.
- The ideal candidate will need to be able to work at a fast pace; read menus, diet cards, and recipes.
- Applicants must be reliable, courteous, a team player, and enjoy working with the elderly.
- Applicants must be willing to train as a Cook/Aide.
- Applicants must be available for several different shifts.
