What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician position at Cherry Optometry?
We are looking for a qualified candidate to help in a busy optometry office where we focus on patient interaction and customer satisfaction. Requirements are a high school diploma or GED in basic education.
Responsibilities and skills we are looking for, but not limited to:
-Understanding optics, frame selection and lens fabrication
- Knowledge of contact lenses, how to teach fittings, along with everyday care.
- Communication of eyewear options and prescriptions to patients
-Able to multitask, help with preliminary testing, front desk duties, and insurance questions
