Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings with precision and care.
• Accurately execute retail sales transactions by using point-of-sale (POS) systems like Square.
• Engage with customers to recommend flavors, upsell toppings, and enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, including cleaning scoops, counters, and display cases.
• Manage cash handling duties efficiently while ensuring accurate register operations.
• Assist with food preparation tasks like stocking supplies, filling cones, and managing inventory levels.
• Support food safety practices by following sanitation protocols and ensuring proper food handling procedures are upheld.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willing to learn and follow food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous customer service or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
