Part-Time Cook
Facility: Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehab
Location: Westland, MI
Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehab, a welcoming skilled nursing facility in Westland, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Part-Time Night Cook to join our dietary team.
In this role, you will assist with preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced evening meals that meet established dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Your culinary skills and reliability will help ensure our residents receive a high-quality dining experience.
Schedule
Part-Time
Approximately 20 hours per week
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
Follow portion control standards and special diet orders accurately
Prepare food using standard recipes and proper food safety procedures
Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience required
Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
Culinary training is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
