- Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and care.
- Support Radiologists during exams and ensure accurate imaging documentation.
- Conduct ultrasound procedures across diverse patient populations, including outpatient settings.
- Operate advanced ultrasound equipment and handle special procedures such as biopsies and paracentesis.
- Participate in on-call rotations, responding promptly to call requests.
- Maintain effective communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-stress hospital environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper body mechanics for lifting and moving patients and equipment.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant sonography experience, particularly outpatient ultrasound.
- Current state license and certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, BLS, CPR.
- Graduate of an Ultrasound/Sonography program.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and lift up to 100 pounds safely.
- Strong visual and auditory acuity to handle clinical situations.
