Role: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities: Provide specialized care to critically ill and premature neonates, including assessments, medication administration, operation of advanced NICU equipment, and assisting with life-saving procedures. Educate and support families, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Require at least one year of recent NICU experience, valid RN license, BLS and NRP certifications. Preferred certifications include RNC-NIC and PALS. Must possess critical thinking, communication, technical, physical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex, fast-paced environments and perform detailed neonatal assessments.
Key Duties: Monitor neonatal health, operate life-support equipment, assist with procedures, ensure infection control, and provide family education. Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to optimize neonatal outcomes.
