Role Overview: A Level I pharmacy technician assists pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Labeling and retrieving prescription drug products.
• Preparing orders for shipment and maintaining pharmacy inventory.
• Ensuring a tidy work environment and proper order staging.
• Communicating effectively with customers and supporting pharmacist consultations.
• Using pharmacy computer systems and RF scanners for order processing.
• Matching orders, labeling, and verifying pharmacist checks.
• Handling shipping logistics based on order modes of transportation.
• Responding to pharmacy calls and supporting warehouse processes.
• Performing additional duties as needed, including working beyond scheduled hours.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED; pharmacy assistance certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in pharmacy operations or related fields.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate warehouse environments.
• Effective communication, organization, and attention to detail.
