Role Overview: This position involves organizing and facilitating patient care in the Operating Room (OR), acting as a first assistant during surgeries, and coordinating with the healthcare team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists.

- Perform circulating and scrubbing duties, including tissue dissection, vessel ligation, suturing, and drain placement.
- Assist with patient transfer, positioning, prepping, and draping to ensure a safe, sterile environment.
- Maintain sterile techniques, handle instruments, and ensure proper documentation of patient data and procedures.
- Mentor and lead staff, improve practice efficiency, and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Certified Nurse First Assistant (CNFA) certification are required.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), perioperative nursing experience, and additional certifications like CRNFA, PALS, or AORN membership.
- Required certifications include BLS/CPR and CNOR; PALS and PEDS certifications are preferred.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail, clinical expertise, and leadership skills.
