- Assisting patients with daily tasks such as bathing and shaving to aid recovery.
- Conducting hourly rounds to assess patient needs and responding to inquiries.
- Supporting nurses by measuring vital signs and reporting any changes promptly.
- Restocking equipment and supplies for smooth unit operations.
- Distributing food and supplements to ensure proper nutrition per care plans.
- Monitoring fall risk patients and marking them appropriately to prevent injuries.
- Documenting patient information accurately for effective communication with healthcare team.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of Basic EKG class within 3 months.
- No prior experience required.
- Certification as Nurse Aide I in North Carolina and BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
