- Monitor and observe assigned patients one-on-one, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Implement evidence-based de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and self.
- Perform direct patient care tasks such as measuring vital signs and transporting patients as delegated.
- Stock linens and supplies efficiently.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and pertinent information in electronic medical records (EPIC).
- Prioritize and complete tasks promptly, alerting nursing staff to any signs of distress or change in condition.
- Follow all protocols related to patient observation and safety, maintaining professionalism and calmness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Experience working with medical terminology and in healthcare settings preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred.
