Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medications.
- Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
- Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
- Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Licenses: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, educate patients and families, and ensure communication across care teams.
