Cardiac Sonographer - PRN

Role Overview: The Sonographer operates ultrasound imaging equipment to support patient diagnosis and treatment, emphasizing high-quality imaging, patient safety, and collaborative communication with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and software, primarily ultrasound devices
• Ensure accurate imaging and patient safety standards
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures
• Collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Graduate from an accredited Sonography program with clinical hours completed
• Minimum of one year relevant experience
• State licensure (as required)
• Certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, CCI, plus two advanced registries and BLS
• Knowledge of vascular protocols, machine operation, emergency, and radiation safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical movements such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
