Role Overview
The Cardiac Cath Tech supports the cardiac catheterization team by assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, and PCI. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining specialized equipment, assisting physicians with sterile techniques, administering contrast media, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves documenting cases, managing inventory, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The technician must be able to communicate effectively, work under pressure, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications & Skills
- Cardiovascular Technician (CVT) certification required
- Preferably an Associate’s Degree; RT (R) or RCIS certification preferred
- Valid State of Delaware license and Radiation License for fluoroscopy use
- Certifications: ARRT-CV, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
