Join Our Team – Clinical Pharmacist
Cherry County Hospital & Clinic is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This position plays a vital role in providing safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care while working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
Position Highlights
- Dispense and verify medications in accordance with Nebraska pharmacy regulations
- Prepare and compound medications, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and TPN
- Monitor medication therapy, dosing adjustments, and antimicrobial stewardship
- Collaborate with providers on medication management and patient counseling
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns
- Maintain medication inventory, controlled substance records, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and staff education
- Share in on-call responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy Administration, or PharmD
- Current Nebraska Pharmacist licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred (1–3 years preferred, but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care
