Job Summary
The Cleaning Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to residential homes, short-term rentals, and commercial spaces. This role ensures each property is cleaned to company standards with attention to detail, efficiency, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with clients and management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and restock bathrooms and kitchens.
- Change linens, make beds, and reset spaces according to company checklists (especially for vacation rentals).
- Handle deep-cleaning tasks such as inside appliances, baseboards, fixtures, and high-touch areas.
- Identify and report damages, maintenance issues, or supply shortages.
- Follow all safety protocols and proper use of equipment/chemicals.
- Maintain professionalism with clients; protect their privacy and property.
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled jobs within allotted timeframes.
- Ensure cleaning supplies, tools, and company property are well maintained.
- Uphold company standards, checklists, and quality-control procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience.
- Experience with short-term rentals (Airbnb/VRBO).
- Knowledge of eco-friendly or specialized cleaning techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, or peak seasons.
Work Environment & Expectations
- Fast-paced, physical work with movement between job locations.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals (PPE provided as needed).
