Job Summary:
The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides in-home personal care and support services to participants enrolled in the Cherry Blossom PACE program, in accordance with an individualized plan of care developed by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). The HHA performs duties that promote participants’ health, safety, independence, and dignity while ensuring regulatory compliance with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and Virginia Board of Nursing requirements.
Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:

Must have one of the following:
- Current certification as a Nurse Aide by the Virginia Board of Nursing and in good standing on the Virginia Nurse Aide Registry, OR
- Completion of a Virginia-approved Home Health Aide training program that meets or exceeds the requirements of 42 CFR § 484.80, with documentation of competency evaluation.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for in-home visits.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience with the elderly or chronically ill, preferred.
