Accounting Systems Specialist
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite 3–4 days/week)
Compensation: $25–$30/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an Accounting Systems Specialist to support the accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple platforms. This individual will serve as a key bridge between operational and accounting systems, ensuring data consistency, resolving discrepancies, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile customer deposits and cash activity
- Verify batch totals and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
- Compare financial data across systems (including QuickBooks and operational platforms)
- Investigate, identify, and resolve discrepancies between systems
- Analyze trends and recurring issues impacting financial data accuracy
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting records
- Partner with leadership to improve processes and reporting reliability
- Support ongoing accounting operations and system-related initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong experience with account reconciliations and financial data validation
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- Ability to analyze data across multiple systems and identify inconsistencies
- Background in accounting operations, including cash applications, AR, bookkeeping, or related areas
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through resolution
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting system integrations or multiple ERP/accounting platforms
- Exposure to financial systems, data validation, or process improvement initiatives
