Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager (Industry)
Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a growing and well‐established organization headquartered in Irmo, SC, to identify an experienced tax professional to support the company’s domestic and international tax functions. This role offers strong visibility, cross‐functional collaboration, and the opportunity to make meaningful recommendations impacting the business.

Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 (commensurate with experience)
Work Schedule: Irmo, SC - Hybrid - 3–4 days in office

Key Responsibilities

• Manage state and local tax compliance and support international tax matters
• Serve as the primary income tax liaison between the company and external CPA firm
• Oversee business licensing, registrations, and annual reporting requirements
• Coordinate with outside CPA firm to complete income tax filings and related deliverables
• Partner with internal accounting and executive teams on tax‐related initiatives
• Prepare and support required tax documentation and compliance reporting
• Provide recommendations to leadership on tax matters impacting the organization
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5 years of tax accounting experience (industry and/or public accounting)
• Strong ERP experience (NetSuite, Sage, or similar systems)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with external CPA firms and internal stakeholders
• Confidence to make recommendations that influence company‐wide decisions
• Self‐starter with a strong sense of ownership and a “can‐do” attitude
