We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, operational excellence, and long-term growth initiatives.

The Opportunity

As Vice President of Finance, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the President & CEO, overseeing the organization's accounting, banking, treasury, insurance, and financial planning functions. This highly visible leadership role offers the opportunity to influence company strategy, support growth initiatives, and help evaluate future acquisition opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead all accounting, banking, treasury, and insurance operations

✅ Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and reporting processes

✅ Prepare monthly financial statements and long-range financial forecasts

✅ Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and banking relationships

✅ Secure financing for capital projects, expansions, and acquisitions

✅ Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and compliance activities

✅ Oversee property & casualty insurance, risk management, and claims processes

✅ Serve as Administrator and Fiduciary for the company's 401(k) plan

✅ Partner with Human Resources on benefits, workers' compensation, and insurance evaluations

✅ Support corporate technology initiatives and collaborate on IT strategy

✅ Work closely with executive leadership to evaluate growth and acquisition opportunities

What We're Looking For

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management

✔ 10 years of accounting experience within a mid-to-large-sized organization

✔ 5 years of leadership experience managing accounting teams

✔ Proven success building and maintaining banking and lending relationships

✔ Experience managing corporate insurance programs and risk management initiatives

✔ Strong expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning

✔ Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

✔ Technology-savvy professional comfortable leading systems and process improvements

⭐ Grocery, retail, supermarket, food, multi-location, and perishable costing experience is a strong plus.
