Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is partnered with a mission-driven, nationally recognized organization operating at the intersection of financial services, technology risk, and critical infrastructure resilience on a search for a Program Manager – Enterprise Risk.
This role supports a high-visibility Financial Risk function, working closely with senior leaders across major financial institutions and regulatory stakeholders. The organization is seeking an experienced Program Manager who can shepherd complex initiatives, keep teams aligned, and drive execution in a fast-paced, stakeholder-heavy environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Translate strategic objectives into detailed work plans, timelines, and task assignments.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, including dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Deliver concise, executive-level updates on project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Establish governance structures, reporting cadence, and performance tracking mechanisms.
- Facilitate stand-ups, execution reviews, and decision-making forums.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications, governance materials, and executive presentations.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution.
- Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks impacting project delivery.
- Coach team members and contribute to successful achievement of program objectives and KPIs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5 years of Program and/or Project Management experience.
- Financial Services industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience operating in high-profile, stakeholder-intensive environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and resolve conflict.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required (no exceptions).
