GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Manager SORNA manages the day-to-day activities, staff operations, and data entry for the Sexually Violent Offenders Registration using the Territory Tribal Sex Offender Registry System (TTSORS) and National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR). Maintains oversight of all sex offenders within the reservation, including the resources used for tracking.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
• One (1) year of experience in a related field.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age with no felony convictions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, taste, or smell. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to correct/adjust focus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
• Possess or obtain first aid and CPR certification within six (6) months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
• Must meet and maintain periodic background investigation and adjudication for childcare and law enforcement.
• Must live within the Tribal jurisdictional service area.
• Must comply with Cherokee Nation Marshal Service’s policies, procedures and code of conduct.
