Key Responsibilities
- Review patient charts, documentation, and clinical workflows to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits, quality reviews, and performance assessments to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient safety and care outcomes.
- Provide education and coaching to clinical staff on best practices, documentation standards, and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address deficiencies and support corrective action plans.
- Track and report quality metrics, audit findings, and compliance outcomes to leadership.
- Assist with accreditation preparation and ongoing regulatory readiness activities.
- Participate in incident reviews, root cause analyses, and risk‑reduction strategies.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience; quality or compliance experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical documentation requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and quality reporting tools.
