What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Relations Director position at CHEROKEE NATION HOME HEALTH SERVICE?
The Community Relations Director is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and analyzing community relations campaigns, marketing efforts, and related events. Establish and maintain ongoing business relationships. Educate other departments within CNHHS, the general public, and outside healthcare professionals to all benefits and services available through CNHHS.
The Community Relations Director will be required to travel throughout the 14 Cherokee Nation counties that CNHHS services in addition to some counties surrounding those as needed.
Qualifications:Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or related field or at least two years of homecare experience in public relations is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work extremely well as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive or controversial subjects with tact, kindness, and professionalism.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement.
- Proficient is Microsoft Office or related software.
