Job Description
Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs is gearing up for an exciting horse racing season and is seeking a seasonal Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team! This role plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of horse racing by assisting with the collection of samples for drug testing. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a veterinary setting.
NOTE : This position is considered safety-sensitive and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. Please note that a positive drug test result, including for marijuana, may result in a job offer being rescinded for applicants or termination of employment for current employees, even if they possess a valid medical marijuana license.
Responsibilities
- Assist the OHRC veterinarian in collecting blood and urine samples from horses.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation within the testing barn.
