Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests, providing courteous, attentive service.
- Answer incoming calls and take reservations as needed.
- Coordinate food and beverage delivery to guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Follow alcohol-safety standards, including checking identification when required.
- Process guest payments accurately for goods and services delivered, as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned stations and shared areas.
- Promote the Big Six by helping create a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment.
- Follow established procedures, food and beverage safety practices, and applicable safety requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED and two years of serving experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication, listening, teamwork, adaptability, and customer-service skills; attention to detail, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to obtain a food handler’s card, pass alcohol-awareness training, obtain and maintain licensing from the appropriate gaming authority, and obtain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed; stand for extended periods and frequently bend and kneel; and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work may take place in climate-controlled areas or on casino floors, with exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
