Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Specialist position partners with the outside sales team and supports CM&C customers with product and service orders. This position requires a high level of customer focus, relationship building and service attitude.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
- Prepare product quotes, CRM utilization, various purchasing tasks, and research cost information.
- Negotiate with manufacturers and vendors for best pricing, terms, and services.
- Prepare and enter purchase orders, and send sales order acknowledgements to CM&C customers.
- Communicates regularly with manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of customer orders. This could include expediting orders, tracking shipments, and follow-up with customers.
- Responds and answers basic inquiries from customers concerning products.
- Provides support to the Outside Sales team as needed.
- Support training through development of the latest step by step detailed work flow processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Goal-oriented, self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines.
- CRM and ERP experience required, Epicor a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of natural gas processing as it relates to analytical measurement. Perform research to further develop product knowledge and understanding of CM&C business and products.
- Ability to build and foster professional relationships with manufacturers, customers, and co-workers.
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Exercise discretion and confidentiality.
- Organized with attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
- Ability to take initiative and perform work independently with limited supervision.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years of sales, purchasing, or related work experience.
- One (1) – two (2) years of Epicor ERP system experience, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Environmental Conditions:
A typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues. May have occasional outdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements.
Pay commensurate with experience.
