Pharmacy Technician PRN
This is an as-needed position with flexible scheduling based on departmental needs.
Our pharmacies are open Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (no weekends, nights, or major holidays)
Locations available: Alcoa, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Lenoir City and Morristown, TN, In-Person

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify prescriptions from patients or healthcare providers.
- Prepare medications by measuring, counting, labeling, and packing prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
- Assist in processing insurance claims and resolving insurance-related issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must hold a current Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT).
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
- Chattanooga candidates only: must be available to travel to and stay in Knoxville for one week for training. River Valley Health will cover the cost of this.
