Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (no weekends, nights, or major holidays)
Full-time (40/hour per week)
Locations available: Alcoa, Knoxville and Lenoir City, TN, In-Person

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for treatment and explaining procedures.
- Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and materials.
- Perform expanded duties such as coronal polishing, sealant application, and restorative functions.
- Sterilizing dental instruments and maintaining infection control procedures.
- Taking and developing dental X-rays.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Tennessee Board-approved Expanded Functions Dental Assistant program.
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) status in Tennessee.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
