Procurement Specialist II Responsibilities Include
- Collecting, validating, and documenting customer requirements to support timely procurement actions
- Identifying procurement issues, risks, and constraints that may affect acquisition strategy and execution
- Analyzing and troubleshooting acquisition requirement packages to ensure completeness and traceability
- Identifying procurement data sources and improving methods for procurement strategy, analysis, and reporting
- Assisting in the development and design of reports and dashboards to support acquisition analysis needs
- Supporting the development of procedures, manuals, job aids, and other materials to improve procurement systems and workflows
- Coordinating with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, clarify requirements, and support decision-making
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)-Preferred
- 4 years of experience supporting procurement, acquisition, contract support, or purchasing operations-Required
- Experience collecting requirements and producing procurement/acquisition reports for stakeholders
- Strong ability to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions
- Proficiency in Microsoft® Office suite (Word®, Outlook®, Excel®, PowerPoint®)
- Ability to learn and use government/proprietary procurement systems and reporting tools as required
- Strong writing skills for SOPs, manuals, and process documentation
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
