Logistics Analyst III Responsibilities Include
- Developing and refining logistics plans across distribution and inventory management functions
- Creating and enforcing procedures that improve service levels, readiness, and cost control
- Performing multi-factor analysis on supply performance (demand trends, lead times, backorders, expirations)
- Building recurring and ad hoc reports to communicate performance, risk, and corrective actions
- Troubleshooting complex logistics issues and driving root-cause analysis to resolution
- Coordinating with leadership, customers, and vendors to align priorities and execution
- Supporting training and knowledge transfer on updated procedures and tools
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Average experience is 5 years in medical logistics/supply chain operations or analytics
- Strong knowledge of logistics concepts, practices, and procedures with the ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to brief findings and recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft® Office suite (Word®, Outlook®, Excel®); Power BI/Tableau a plus
- Ability to learn and operate inventory/logistics systems (ERP/WMS/proprietary tools)
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
