Job Overview
As a Hospice Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in connecting compassionate care with those who need it most. Your mission will be to promote hospice services to healthcare providers and community organizations, ensuring that patients and families receive the support they deserve during critical times. With your dynamic approach to sales and exceptional communication skills, you will build lasting relationships that enhance our outreach and impact.
Develop and Implement Growth Strategies:
- Develop implement strategies for increasing referrals and expanding the organization's network for the team.
Cultivate Referral Sources:
- Work closely with hospital discharge planners, social workers, case managers, and physicians to generate referrals.
- Provide educational presentations to staff and community members.
- Actively participate in networking events within assigned territories.
- Travel frequently to scheduled meetings and develop referral sources
Manage Admission Coordination:
- Oversee the referral-to-admission process, ensuring efficient documentation and processing.
- May have patient sign Election of Hospice Medicare Benefit and Authorization for Care/Treatment.
Ensure Continuity of Care:
- Facilitate smooth communication between physicians, community resources, and our home care teams.

Qualifications:
An existing book of business IS REQUIRED.
Proven track record in home health/hospice sales and business development.
Existing relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Goal-oriented and driven to meet quarterly and annual targets.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
