The Marketing Representative will play a vital role in generating referrals by establishing and nurturing relationships with physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, independent and assisted living communities, and other local resources. This role involves interacting with discharge planners, case managers, and families at designated facilities.
Community Marketer/Liaison Responsibilities:
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person/On the road

Cherish Hospice is seeking a Community Marketer/Liaison in the Springfield/Dayton area.
The Marketing Representative will play a vital role in generating referrals by establishing and nurturing relationships with physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, independent and assisted living communities, and other local resources. This role involves interacting with discharge planners, case managers, and families at designated facilities.
Community Marketer/Liaison Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, discharge planners, personal care homes, etc.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote community recognition, enhance census growth, and increase referrals.
- Track Referral trends, monitor development and identify key target marketing opportunities.
- Plan and organize marketing events and informational sessions.
- Educate stakeholders about hospice care.
- Oversee initial patient consent for hospice care and ensure documentation is processed correctly.
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss successes, competitor insights, and future growth opportunities.
- Meet quotas and/or expectations set by the Director of Business Development.
- Strong, effective communication skills, and responsiveness to client needs.
- Ability to build personal relationships quickly.
- Effective leadership, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with insured vehicle and reliable transportation.
- Deep compassion and integrity in patient care and adherence to hospice philosophy.
- Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in hospice or healthcare.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
