Job Description

Cherenzia Excavation is seeking a hardworking and dependable Excavation Laborer to

join our site development team. This position involves assisting equipment operators,

performing general site work, and supporting excavation and utility installation projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, excavation, backfilling, and cleanup

• Perform manual digging and trench work as needed

• Assist equipment operators and act as a spotter

• Assist with pipe and utility installation

• Check grades using laser levels and grade rods

• Load, unload, and move construction materials

• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment

• Follow all company, OSHA, and job-site safety requirements

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team

• Ability to perform physical labor and lift 50–100 lbs.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Excavation, site work, pipe installation, or construction experience preferred

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

• GPS and P6 experience preferred

• Experience with grade checking and small equipment is a plus

• CDL Class A or B is a plus but not required

• High school Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
