Registered Nurse (RN) – Multiple Shifts Available
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, a patient-first mindset, and the ability to provide exceptional care across diverse healthcare settings. This role offers opportunities to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, quality-driven care.
Available Shifts:
- Morning: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Overnight: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Day: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Overnight: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and vital sign monitoring.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
- Accurately document patient care using EMR/EHR systems.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams across specialties including critical care, pediatrics, geriatrics, and emergency medicine.
- Perform advanced nursing tasks: IV infusions, catheterizations, pain management, dialysis support, and suturing assistance.
- Participate in emergency triage and provide care for patients with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
- Stay current with industry standards through continued education in areas like esthetic treatments, infection control, and advanced nursing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in hospital or clinical settings is required.
- Proficient with EMR systems (Point Click Care (PCC)) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and aseptic/phlebotomy techniques.
- Skilled in specialized care techniques: tube feeding, airway management, specimen collection, and ostomy care.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and clinical excellence in acute care and case management.
