What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paid Social Media Intern (Sports) position at CHEQ Sports?
CHEQ is a live sports app on the App Store: real-time scores, live alerts the second a player hits a stat or a parlay leg cashes, and live game cards on your lock screen and Apple Watch. NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, college, soccer and more. We're growing fast and need someone to make the internet know about it.
This job is simple: watch sports, post about them, and get CHEQ more followers on Instagram, TikTok and X. Yes, watching games is part of the job. We want you live-posting during big moments.
What you'll do
- Post every day on Instagram, TikTok and X
- Run our X account like the best brand accounts do: funny, fast, a little unhinged, always replying
- Live-post and react during games, and jump on trends and big moments while they're happening
- Shoot and edit short videos: highlights, memes, reactions, app clips
- Reply to people, join the conversation, and grow the audience
- Track what's working and do more of it
What we're looking for
- You live on social media and understand what makes sports content hit
- You can make and edit videos (CapCut, Premiere, or whatever you're fast in)
- You know sports and actually watch them. Fantasy, props and parlays knowledge is a big plus
- You're funny and quick, with a voice people want to follow
- You're consistent. Posting every day matters more than one viral hit
Bonus points
- You already run a sports account, or have posts that blew up
- Graphics skills (Canva, Photoshop)
Details
- Part-time, about 15–20 hours a week, flexible. Game nights and weekends are where the action is
