Handles damaged products by assessing, repairing, salvaging, and returning items to stock while supporting administrative tasks, reporting, and coordination with internal teams.
Major Functional Responsibilities:
- Assess quality of product and determine the damage, repair or salvage possibilities for that product.
- Repair product or its packaging when possible.
- Review salvage sources to increase salvage return value.
- Ensure product is returned to stock in a timely manner and to the correct slot.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to return stock, salvage, dump, or repair product.
- Produce various reports and documents related to damage and return process.
- Interfaces with transportation and internal operations personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards
Required Education
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
- 6 Months - 1 Year warehouse experience.
- Math skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Skill using a computer, sufficient to input data.
