Overview
We are seeking a Physical Security System Administrator to operate and maintain electronic access control and security systems supporting sensitive and classified environments. This role ensures system availability, compliance, and operational integrity.
This position is contingent upon award and not currently funded.
Responsibilities
- Administrator access control and electronic security systems.
- Perform system configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Support system monitoring, patching and cybersecurity compliance.
- Maintain backups, documentation, and preventative maintenance plans.
- Support alarm testing, CCTV systems and access control devices.
- Maintain system logs, metrics and operationals reports.
- Train users on system operation and security procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience administering IT or security systems.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Experience supporting access control or enterprise IT systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic security systems (Lenel or similar).
- Experience supporting classified or SCIF environments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, Power Point), and Outlook
