Responsibilities
What You'll Get To Do:
- Operate and handle mechanical equipment such as boilers and stationary engines.
- Monitor equipment and observe water, fuel, and air levels data.
- Maintain equipment as needed.
- Conduct all necessary tests to ensure equipment functions correctly.
- Diagnose, repair, and operate central chillers, compressed-air equipment, waste trim equipment, and process vacuum equipment.
- Test and maintain fire sprinkler systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program in HVAC.
- Must be able to interpret and apply blueprints and complicated equipment control diagrams.
- Thorough working knowledge of refrigeration theory.
