The Senior Security Specialist / Program Manager leads daily security and access control operations while providing program oversight and hands‑on support in a high‑security federal environment. This role combines leadership, operational security, and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Lead and train Access Control Specialists; provide coverage when staff are unavailable
- Coordinate schedules to ensure continuous cleared staffing at visitor desks
- Support program planning, schedules, deliverables, and resources
- Conduct security briefings and debriefings
- Assist the COMSEC Manager with material transfers, inventories, shipments, and documentation
- Implement policies outlined in the FBI Central Office of Record COMSEC Manual
- Maintain a professional, customer‑focused security operation.
- Other duties as assigned
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree 3 years of relevant security experience or 5 years in a security‑related field
- Experience in physical, industrial, and/or information security
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Program management experience with strong organizational and leadership skills
- Prior experience leading access control or visitor management teams in a federal or cleared facility
- Experience supporting COMSEC operations and working with controlled cryptographic material
- Familiarity with FBI, DoD, or other federal security policies and procedures.
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Knowledge of federal government contracting business processes.
