- Chenega Naswik International is seeking a Security Escort & Visitor Control Specialist to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Office of Security. In this critical role, you will help maintain a secure environment by controlling visitor access, escorting personnel throughout secure facilities, and supporting security-related operations that enable NAVSEA's important mission.
- This position is ideal for security professionals who possess strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and a commitment to safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information.
- Escort visitors, contractors, vendors, maintenance personnel, and other individuals who do not possess the required access credentials within secure areas.
- Ensure all escorted personnel comply with established security policies and procedures.
- Monitor visitor activities and maintain accountability while individuals are within controlled spaces.
- Provide escort and security support for VIP visits, command events, and other special activities.
- Coordinate effectively with facility maintenance, construction, and repair teams to facilitate access while maintaining security requirements.
- Support Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) shredding and destruction events.
- Assist with visitor check-in procedures and visitor control processes as required.
- Promptly identify, report, and document security concerns or unusual activity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in security, visitor control, force protection, access control, or related security functions.
- Experience performing security escort duties in a government, military, or secure facility environment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to comply with all security protocols and safeguard sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established security procedures.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, composure, and sound judgment in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills when interacting with visitors, employees, and senior leadership.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to provide clear directions and guidance.
- Reliable, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to recognize and report potential security concerns in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
