Position Details
- 1099, rate $155-175/hour
- 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
- Chenega covers medical malpractice insurance
- Patient Volume: Estimated 20 per day
- Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans and recommendations for patients seen.
- Recommend and refer patients to other Indian Health Service providers and Purchase Referred Care vendors.
- Document services in the electronic medical record system for patient encounters; complete administrative paperwork including electronic consults, co-signatures, completion of chart or Risk Management Reviews, unusual occurrences and peer review.
- Provide consultation to the Hospital Emergency Department health care providers on an as needed basis.
- Provide physician service and staff urgent care clinic, as needed.
- Permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Board Certified in or Board Eligible in Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine.
- Successful completion of a residency program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Training Program.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Active DEA license.
