Saute Cook/Garde Manger Cooks- Morning and Afternoon shifts

Chenal Country Club, located in west Little Rock, Arkansas, is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual for the full time position of AM and PM Line Cook/Garde Manger. Host of the 2013 AAC regional dinner, Chenal Country Club is a 20 year-old, corporate-owned, private club with approximately 800 members. The club operates an $8 million budget, including annual dues of $3.2 million, and food & beverage sales of $2.3 million. The Club's 100,000 square foot clubhouse includes a formal dining room, family dining room, Men's and Ladies' card rooms and lounges; private dining rooms; and a ballroom that hosts up to 450 members and guests for dinner or up to 800 for cocktails.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, with ambition to grow within the culinary world. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with experienced and certified culinarians – and cultivate their culinary skills. Applicants must have experience with Garde Manger, cooking from scratch and working as a team player. This is a full-time position, experience is required, and Culinary certification is a plus! Open availability, including Sundays, is preferred.

The Line Cook must be able to read and follow recipes provided by the Chef. All applicants must be able to lift food boxes, up to 50 lbs unassisted. Prior experience with working with a flame gas grill, and commercial deep fryer is preferred.

- Enrolled in Culinary school or possess Culinary certification

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
